Be Patient and Take Breaks for a Fresh Perspective

When it comes to designing your vivarium, one of the most valuable pieces of advice is this: Don’t rush it!

Take your time and allow yourself the opportunity to explore different possibilities. It can make all the difference in creating a truly exceptional vivarium.

Taking breaks throughout the design process is helpful to give yourself time to recharge. This break allows you to come back with fresh eyes and a renewed perspective.

You may notice details or potential improvements that you missed before. Sometimes, a short break is all you need for a burst of inspiration.

Additionally, once you’re satisfied with a particular design or layout, it’s beneficial to let it sit overnight.

This period of time allows you to distance yourself from the immediate excitement and evaluate the design with a more critical eye the next day. You may discover areas that need adjustment or find new ideas to enhance the overall composition.

Don’t be afraid to take several days, or even weeks, to play around with different designs before committing to any semi-permanent elements like silicone or expanding foam.

This extended timeline allows for experimentation, adjustments, and the ability to achieve a more refined and captivating result.
